Paralegal - Workers' Compensation The candidate will be responsible for coordinating medical treatment, reviewing medical records and medical billing, negotiating medical liens over the telephone, appearing at the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, preparing trial exhibits, legal research, drafting correspondence to opposing counsel, lien claimants or clients. Must have 1+ years of workers' compensation experience on behalf of injured employees. Fluency in spanish is necessary. Must be able to handle all aspects of workers' compensation claims for injured workers. Should have experience with WCAB filings, petitions, DOR's, reporting new injury claims to insurance carriers, setting doctor appointments, requesting QME panels, obtaining medical records, scheduling depositions, etc.
