Family Law Attorney The candidate will manage caseloads. Draft pleadings, motions, and orders for your clients. Meet all deadlines, including those placed on short notice. Appear in court when required (examples include temporary order hearings, final trials, and other hearings as appropriate). Perform legal research. Interview witnesses and work with specialists on cases. Prepare for trials, hearings, mediations, and other case requirements as applicable. Must have a license in good standing to practice law in the State of Texas; experience with Texas rules of civil procedure, discovery, mediation, arbitration, and property tracing a plus; strong ethical standards, work ethics, interpersonal skills, and willingness to learn; proven experience providing a high standard of service and professionalism to clients, especially when there are emotional challenges; the desire to think outside the box and work to find new solutions to fit a client's legal needs; and high-level verbal and written skills to effectively communicate with clients, attorneys, contractors, and employees.
