Seeking Associate Attorney with 1-2 years' experience in litigation, with a demonstrated interest in Labor & Employment. The candidate will handle the day-to-day case work with the direction of the lead attorney such as preparing case management statements, draft stipulations, meet and confer with opposing counsel regarding discovery responses. From time to time, you will also have opportunities to attend court appearances, and depositions. Mid-level and more experienced attorneys will have experience in drafting class certification motions, motions for summary judgment/adjudication, drafting writ petitions, defending and taking depositions, negotiating settlement agreements, among other duties. Should have Labor and Employment experience with a demonstrated interest in Plaintiff s practice. Associates will be assigned to a team and will be involved in all aspects of the each case from inception (e.g., initial intake, preparing case memos, determining viable claims to pursue, and drafting the initial complaint).
