Associate Attorney The candidate's duties include: full case responsibility for the defense of property damage insurance claims; drafting of pleadings, motions, memorandum of law, and responses thereto; attendance and participation in hearings and depositions; excellent negotiation skills; attendance at mediation. Should be a member of The Florida Bar with minimum 1-2 years relevant work experience. Should have excellent interpersonal skills, team player and personable. Should be tech-savvy. Should have excellent research and writing skills. Should have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Florida Bar required. The candidate should have 2-3 years of insurance defense litigation experience including attendance at hearings, taking and defending depositions, and motion practice. Preference to the candidate with 1st party property damage experience. Must possess strong oral advocacy ability and excellent, grammatically correct writing skills. Experience taking and defending depositions, familiarity with Fl. Rules of Civil Procedure, motion practice, and client relations.
