IP Litigation Paralegal The candidate will assist attorneys in research, drafting, and revision of discovery, motions, judgments and dismissals. Attend trials and assists in witness lists. Prepare, execute and download court filings including electronic filings, Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) and state filings, and court pleadings. Maintain compliance deadlines through docketing administration. Draft client correspondence for attorneys. Conducts legal research, compiles and organizes materials in order to prepare for depositions, hearings and trials. Prepare discovery production, schedule depositions, and check case citations. Obtain records and work with experts in all areas of litigation. Serve as a point of contact for clients and may interpret data for clients and team. High school diploma or equivalent degree is required. Associate's degree in paralegal studies is required. Should have 2+ years in legal industry or equivalent transferrable skills from industries such as insurance, government, regulatory/compliance administration. Should preferably have 3-5 years as a Litigation Paralegal. Paralegal certificate or degree is required.
