Paralegal - Personal Injury Responsibilities: A primary point of contact representing Firm to clients, representatives of insurance companies, and medical service providers. Will be responsible for processing the case, facilitating bodily injury treatment and resolution, and work closely with the Managing Partner in all aspects of case management and development. Helps coordinate client's medical treatment with network of providers. Maintains communication with clients, experts, medical providers. Coordinates to obtain all information from clients regarding damages. Reviews and organizes medical bills and reports. Drafts and follows up on demand packages. Assists the Managing Partner with the preparation of legal documents. Assists the Managing Partner with propounding & responding to discovery. Assists the Managing Partner with deposition and trial preparation. Provides clients with regular case status updates. Qualifications: Working directly with the Managing Partner to build and support the team. Knowledge of California Civil Procedure and Local Rules. Think in terms of outlines, chronologies, and indexes. See an opportunity for organization where other people see a mess. Smile when answer the phone.
