Personal Injury Paralegal The candidate should have medical malpractice experience. Duties: Drafting letters; Court system filing; Managing lawyers scheduling. Correspondence with clients, opposing law firms, and experts. Assisting and preparing for trial by preparing trial notebooks, exhibits, and files. Drafting and answering discoveries. Noncomplex motions. Work directly with the attorneys in determining and executing litigation plans and strategies. Draft standard motions for court. Conduct legal research. Conduct searches for health insurance liens. Should have 5-10 years experience in complex litigation with concentration in plaintiffs personal injury or medical malpractice. Must be skilled with LexisNexis, Westlaw, and Microsoft Office. Knowledge with PA Court Rules, as well as experience in filing in the PA Court system and the Federal Court system is required.
