Closing / Escrow Attorney The candidate will advise clients in real estate transactions involving the purchase, sale or refinance of a home or commercial property. Will report to the State Managing Attorney. Represent firm at real estate closings. Prepare and examine contracts involving leases, licenses, purchases, sales, insurance, etc. Provide legal advice to clients. Prepare resolutions and forms. Responsible for foreseeing and protecting the clients and the company against legal risks. Willingly perform other duties as assigned or requested. Should have a J.D. degree and be licensed and have a Bar card in good standing within the state of practice. Must have experience in the buying and selling of real estate, deed transfers, title issues, boundary dispute, easement or zoning issues, and other legal documents regarding the determination of land ownership. Should hold or be able to obtain a notary public certification prior to being employed.
