Legal Secretary/Assistant The candidate should have knowledge of civil litigation and be able to handle full-time work load for two busy attorneys. Must have 5+ years experience and have strong working knowledge of all phases of California litigation including local rules and court filing procedures. Proficiency required in word processing using Word, Word Perfect, Outlook, document management, internet and calendaring software. Technical experience using Adobe Professional, Power Point and Excel preferred. Must take initiative, be resourceful and anticipate needs of attorneys. Should be well organized and possess excellent communication, spelling and grammar skills. Must have ability of attention to detail, follow-up, dependability, punctuality, a strong work ethic and can work fast under pressure. Must be skilled in transcription.
