Residential Real Estate Document Review Paralegal The candidate will responsible for managing the quality assurance functions of all loans within the closing process in accordance with established work rules, goals, and objectives. The person in this position will be expected to maintain a culture of team collaboration, accountability, operational excellence, and unwavering commitment to customer service and satisfaction. It is also expected that this role will develop strong working relationships with both internal business partners and collaborative partners of the company. Reviews loan packages, adding necessary firm documents and title documents to unexecuted loan packages, Completes a Quality Assurance review of all unexecuted loan and document packages in queue for referral to signing agents, Completes a Quality Assurance review of all documents executed during the settlement process, Reviews various checklists and updates title production system for steps completed for the settlement process, Receives, reviews, and notes exceptions to counsel on all executed loan documents as it related to the Settlement, Notifies management of all potential high-risk matters that pose a risk to the company, clients, partners or lender, Prioritizes allocated work to ensure timely and accurate resolution to both external and internal partners, Performs related duties as assigned, Adheres to company policies and guidelines, 2+ years of loan underwriting or closing experience (for a lender) is required. 2+ years of closing/settlement experience with a law firm or title company is required. Prior work experience in a lender or servicer quality assurance or post closing department is preferred. Prior experience in the real estate closing industry is a plus. Bachelor's degree or its equivalent is required.
