Litigation Paralegal The candidate will provide support to attorneys and enhance the attorney's effectiveness by performing delegated substantive legal work for all attorneys in the Litigation Department; Strong administrative skills handling the department calendar, scheduling calls, maintaining tasks and deadlines; Draft, review and file legal documents such as notices, motions, discovery responses and other pleadings for attorneys; Case Management; Review and summarize case files; Input billing for daily activity; Compile, analyze and organize information; and Other duties as assigned. Understand legal terminology and procedures required. Knowledge of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure required. Familiar with Federal Rules of Civil Procedure preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook required. Working knowledge of Practice Panther by AppFolio required. Associate's Degree or comparable work experience required. Florida Registered Paralegal preferred and 5 years as a litigation paralegal (experience with property claims is a plus).
