Associate Attorney - Estate Planning/Elder Law Duties: Candidate will for estate planning, elder law and business planning. Will serve middle to upper income people who are planners, those who want to protect their families, accomplish charitable goals, create a lasting legacy and provide for business succession. Network and market yourself in the community to build client base. Assist existing attorneys with overload. Draft trusts, wills and ancillary documents for clients. Research legal and tax issues when necessary. Provide legal guidance and support to clients in administering estates and trusts. Work with staff to ensure good communications and work flow. Qualifications: JD Degree required. Admission to North Carolina Bar. 2+ years experience in trusts, estates, probate or elder law. Ability to efficiently handle caseload without sacrificing quality. Ability to be entrepreneurial in attracting new clients and matters. Sincere client focus and service. Great communications skills tailored to individual clients and staff.
