Litigation Paralegal - Personal Injury The candidate will support attorney as needed and take direction well. Responsible for filings in Magistrate, State or Federal Court. Calendaring and coordination of depositions; assist in answering interrogatories and requests for production of documents; obtains, drafts and organizes documents and exhibits for litigation. Determines and maintains priorities and deadlines, keeping managing attorney apprised of same. Communicate with clients and opposing counsel. Assists attorneys in supervising less experienced paralegals. Operate office equipment such as scanners, facsimile machines, computers, and photocopiers. Ability to file lawsuits from drafting complaints, preparing proofs of service, through the completion of a potential trial. Ability to review, analyze, and understand legal documents. The candidate should have ABA Certification or Bachelor's Degree. Must have 2-5 years as a litigation paralegal. Personal Injury background required. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills essential. Proficient in computers, Prevail, Microsoft Office. Typing proficiency: 50 - 65 WPM (minimum). Fluency in Spanish preferred.
