Patent Legal Secretary The candidate will be responsible for providing administrative, litigation and prosecution support to our litigation and prosecution practice groups. Assisting in all areas of patent prosecution, litigation, appeals and post grant proceedings including scheduling appointments for timekeepers and clients, organizing, updating and maintaining filing systems of professional, administrative, prosecution and litigation case files. Monitoring and maintaining the Daily Digest for our timekeepers' case dockets, investigating case statuses as necessary. Assisting in the preparation of memoranda, correspondence and pleadings, and aiding in the prioritization of workload to ensure deadlines are met. Maintaining current knowledge of U.S., foreign and firm procedures and rules relating to patent prosecution and intellectual property; maintaining current knowledge of local and patent rules for the federal, district, and appellate courts as well as filing rules and procedures at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). Must have 2-3 years of litigation secretarial experience preferred. Patent and intellectual property litigation experience highly desirable.
