Legal Assistant/Paralegal Responsibilities : The candidate will be responsible for the administrative duties related to drafting and case management, as well as interpersonal duties to assist the firm in providing a high standard of service to our clients. Will interact and build relationships with the clients, while supporting attorneys with drafting bankruptcy petitions and schedules, memos, letters, motions, and orders, and preparing for hearings. Requirements : The candidate should have at least 2 years of experience working in Bankruptcy. Should know how to draft all documents involved in Bankruptcy. Able to use Best Case Bankruptcy Software. Be able to choose the right template and build the first draft. Must be creative, organized, and efficient. A penchant for accuracy and attention to detail are required to avoid mistakes. Able to keep track of key dates, keep the right people informed, and prioritize time so that never miss a deadline. This position requires the combination of empathy, experience, and skill. Must have a growth mindset, an ability to relate with people in crisis, and be able to work independently. Prefer bi-lingual in Spanish/English but not required.
