Associate Attorney (Contract/Part-time) Responsibilities: Provide direct representation to clients in family-based cases including waiver cases; Provide direct representation to clients in removal proceedings at the Portland Immigration Court; Work closely with the firms legal staff; Perform general administrative tasks and case management. Qualifications: Law degree and admission to State Bar in the U.S. (does not have to be Oregon State Bar); 2-3 years of experience practicing immigration law within family-based immigration law or removal proceedings; Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to get along well with colleagues, staff, and clients; Excellent writing ability and superb communication skills; Spanish fluency preferred.
