Legal Secretary Duties: Request medical records; Manage calendars and schedules; Open, organize and update client files; Answer telephones, document and relay messages; Greet clients; Type correspondence; Proofing, and editing a variety of documents; Prepare and manage correspondence (incoming/outgoing mail); Compose and draft documents, forms and correspondence as required. (e.g., Help claims adjuster with demand package, letters to clients and Insurance companies; Management of client lists; Interpret for Attorney-Client meetings and conversations. Requirements: Candidate must be fluent in both English and Spanish, must be a good communicator and have strong organizational skills. Must be very personable, energetic, dynamic, dependable, detail oriented and has the ability to work independently. Proficient in all Microsoft applications, including Outlook Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Document; Positive and professional demeanor; able to interact effectively with personnel at all levels, including attorneys, staff, and clients; Organizational skills, ability to juggle several projects at the same time; Able to work independently and take initiative to accomplish objectives in a timely manner; Strong written and verbal communication skill; Experience working as a legal secretary is a major plus.
