Paralegal - Complex Litigation & Class Action The candidate's duties include: Pro-active management of a fast-moving caseload of varied and diverse matters and jurisdictions; Assist the attorneys with all aspects of litigation; Draft documents including discovery, pleadings and correspondence; Analyse local court rules and creating document templates based on those requirements; Review documents and analysing issues for attorney input and further review; Filing with court (federal and state) and communicating with court clerks; Communicate with clients and peers; Assisting attorneys with preparation for depositions, document review, and other discovery and case matters through settlement, mediation or trial. Should have Associate's or bachelor's degree and paralegal certificate from an ABA-recognized paralegal program. Should have Solid understanding of civil procedure and state and federal court rules, and the ability to master local rules of court. Must have experience and proficiency in MDL filings. Should have outstanding computer skills and a high-level of proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint and Excel. Must have experience with document management programs and eDiscovery platforms a plus. Should be proficient in e-filing in multiple jurisdictions. Must have ability to track and calendar deadlines. Should have good judgment and decision-making skills. Must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Should have understanding of timekeeping and common-benefit reporting, Associate (Preferred). Experience of 1-3 year (Preferred).
