Personal Injury Paralegal/Legal Secretary The candidate will work with our amazing litigation team and assist with various aspects of litigation. Working with electronic files - Propounding and responding to discovery for personal injury cases. Calendaring deadlines. Should have trial experience including: Going to trials with an attorney. Doing whatever is necessary for trial including trial binders, preparing exhibits, supplies, etc. Subpoenas. Trial related motions/notices such as 998 offers to compromise and expert exchange. Drafting motions in limine. Drafting mediation briefs. Preparing special verdict forms and jury instructions. Must be able to take direction, be skilled and experienced, organized, capable of performing internet research, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft office, be familiar with the rules of civil procedure and Federal knowledge is a plus, or willing to learn, and have great attention to detail. Fluency in Spanish is a plus. Bring a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn succeed and you will fit right in. High school or equivalent (Preferred). Experience of 1-2 years (Preferred). Spanish (preferred but not required).
