Title : Pi Litigation Paralegal

PI Litigation Paralegal The candidate must be able to prepare discovery documents, legal pleadings, and correspondence. Must be able to review and analyze medical records and other documents as required. Must be able to evaluate investigation materials and draft responses to written discovery. Must be able to schedule lay and expert witness meetings and depositions in standard as well as multi-party cases. Must be able to review and summarize depositions. Must become familiar with client guidelines for billable and non-billable activities. Must have experience recording time entries for all daily tasks. Must have exceptional communication skills, and be comfortable communicating with clients, courts, witnesses, parties, etc. Must have litigation and personal injury experience. Must be responsible for handling all aspects of the file from the moment it enters litigation including but not limited to Drafting Complaints, Drafting Request for Admissions, Request for Productions, answering interrogatories, Managing attorney's calendar, and ongoing great communication with clients. Should be proven analytical and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail; familiarity with performing research tasks using web-based legal research services. Should have advanced legal writing, drafting, and proofing skills; ability to prioritize urgent projects and meet deadlines; ability to work both as part of a team and independently. Bilingual English/Spanish required.
