Litigation Paralegal Candidate will work directly with attorneys and perform a variety of duties to assist attorneys in the litigation process. Must have a Bachelor s degree or an Associate s degree with a paralegal certificate from an ABA approved paralegal program. Must be experienced civil litigation preferably with Labor and Employment, Auto Negligence, PI, Trucking Litigation and 1st Party Property Insurance Defense experience. Skills include handling cases from inception up to and through trial, handling large volume of discovery, creating chronology of facts and using litigation support software. Must have experience reviewing medical records and preparing medical chronologies, work in a team environment and work under pressure on time-sensitive projects. Technical proficiencies will include: Microsoft Office, Excel, Summation, Lexis/Nexis, Westlaw, Pacer, FileSite, Accurint. Must be able to make independent decisions regarding cases and be able to initiate contact with clients, attorneys and other involved parties.
