Paralegal The candidate will contribute to robust Product Liability & Mass Torts practice group on complex litigation matters. Work with the practice group to defend, resolve and try product liability, environmental, commercial, and/or complex mass tort cases. Work as part of a dynamic team, including experienced and recognized lawyers and an advanced in-house technology department for managing litigation. Put into practice advanced case management skills, seeing a case from inception through discovery, trial preparation, trial and post-trial phases of matter. Review, analyze and organize litigation documents; prepare and file pleadings and discovery. Provide clear and complete work delegation to associates, legal administrative assistants and other support staff as necessary. Monitor on-going case activity and pending deadlines. Knowledge and commitment in the use of technology for litigation support and trial preparation is required. Ability to bill 1550 hours annually towards the firms paralegal billing expectation. Requirements: 7 + years of large law firm, complex litigation experience is required. Paralegal certificate, or a 4-year college degree. Trial preparation and experience is required.
