Legal Assistant/Paralegal The candidate will assist in preparing all legal and related filings, like but not limited to family-based USCIS immigration applications, and Personal Injury cases, based on templates.Coordinate with clients for supporting documents. Organize and maintain the client's supporting documents. Ensure proper input of supporting documents and detailed information into CMS and physical files. Serve as the main point of contact for clients during the pendency of the case. Maintain case file organization and completion. Provide case status updates to clients. Communicate with clients. Direct client calls and questions to Associate Attorney when it requires legal advice or discussion. Work closely with Paralegal/s to ensure proper maintenance of documents and client management/responsiveness. Support and assist Associates/Other Paralegals and case managers with caseloads Handle routine correspondence by scanning into CRM and distributing mail. Ensure All proper information, client intakes, notes, etc., are always enter on the client's case. Work with other parts of our firm and communicate with other locations. Maintain organization for your workflow and recommend improvements for the office. Maintain and service client relationships. Propose new ideas for better case management and client satisfaction. must be fluent in both formal english and formal spanish. Must be able to use computers, office 365, email, and google g suite, and above all else, pay much attention to details. should be able to demonstrate good judgment, the ability to prioritize your activities with minimal supervision to meet deadlines and coordinate cheerfully with your fellow team members to get the job done. Must have related paralegal experience supporting an immigration law office. Must be Bilingual in English/Spanish with written and oral fluency. HS diploma is required. Bachelor's degree and/or professional certification preferred. Must have strong communication skills, both oral and written, and know how to use: online calendar, Word, or Excel, or Outlook mail, and some type of case-management software. Deadline and Detail-oriented, highly organized, excellent communication skills, excellent research, and writing skills, ability to prioritize and multitask, works well independently, work well under pressure.
