Immigration Paralegal Responsibilities: Assist attorneys in preparation of immigrant and non-immigrant visa petitions. Draft, review, and prepare legal documents such as E-1/2/3, H-1B, L1A/B, O-1, TN, EB1-3, I-140, PERM labor certification, AOS adjustment of status, and N-400 naturalization filings. Manage a caseload of visa matters utilizing case management software. Communicate regularly with clients regarding procedural and case processing issues. Analyze case documents and prepare immigration applications for filing. Draft petitions, applications and specialized support letters detailing eligibility for visa classification. Learn procedural and processing requirements for various types of visa petitions. Conduct research on immigration regulations and procedures. Review and approve client billing under supervision of partner or attorney. Work closely in team environment, while building knowledge of firm and client processes. Contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the firm s workflow. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or equiv) in Business Administration, International Relations or a closely related field. Paralegal certificate is preferred. 3+ years of experience in a professional environment. Demonstrated client service focus. Excellent oral, writing, research, organizational and proofreading skills. Demonstrated ability to handle a high-volume case load, while maintaining productivity. Knowledge of immigration and nationality law matters and mastery of multiple case types, including E-1/2/3, H, L, TN, O, P, PERM, EB1 & IV filings. Familiarity with immigration form software such as Cerenade, INS Zoom, Tracker, LawLogix.
