Litigation Legal Secretary / Legal Assistant The candidate will be drafting, editing and proofreading documents; handling court filings and service requests; cite checking; creating tables of authorities; organizing and managing files (physical and electronic) in document intensive practices; assisting with document production; maintaining calendars and dockets; coordinating meetings and arranging schedules; reconciling travel expenses; setting up new cases; and assisting paralegals and other legal assistants. Excellent proficiency required with all MS Office applications, with emphasis on Word and Excel, along with document management software. Working knowledge of e-discovery programs, such as DISCO, a plus. Should have 5+ years litigation experience (Washington State and Federal courts and State administrative tribunals), and demonstrated understanding of court rules of procedure. Must possess strong organizational, secretarial, and administrative skills to support an active litigation practice.
