Legal Secretary The candidate should have 1-3 years of litigation experience. The ideal candidate must have working knowledge of Word with the ability to create Table of Contents and Table of Authorities, redlines, and other advanced word processing skills. In addition, the candidate must be positive, detail oriented, a self starter, well-organized, with excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic. The candidate will also be tasked with administrative responsibilities including scheduling, maintaining the attorney s files, and assisting in making travel arrangements. Responsibilities include working with attorneys and/or paralegals on court filings, deposition and trial preparations, and other case management matters. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of State and Federal court filing rules and procedures (including e-filings) and knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
