Legal Secretary The candidate will join Civil litigation firm. Duties include heavy transcription; preparing documents for filing with courts; calendaring and maintaining Attorneys schedules; preparing subpoenas; drafting simple pleadings (CMC Statements, deposition notices, etc.); entering billing; organizing files and case materials; scheduling hearings and depositions; composing and editing correspondence; contacting clients; performing other basic clerical duties; and supporting Law Firm staff as needed. Must have 5+ years of experience. Must possess excellent communication and grammar skills. Must have a working knowledge of MS Word, Timeslips, Outlook and Legal Solutions; must be well versed with Rules of Court, Local Rules and Federal Rules. Must be able to multitask and communicate well with clients and other counsel.
