Litigation Paralegal Responsibilities: Proactively manage litigation caseload with minimal supervision or directive. Demonstrate proficient knowledge of state and federal civil procedure, including electronic filing procedures (CM/ECF, PACER, etc.). Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or a paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program preferred. 3+ years' experience in a plaintiff's personal injury law firm preferred. Possess a broad understanding of medical terminology for analyzing medical records and preparing chronologies. Must demonstrate excellent writing skills for drafting various legal documents, including settlement brochures, pleadings, motions and written discovery. Proficient in using Microsoft Office, MAC operating system and legal case management systems. Experience managing liens and subrogation matters. Bright, ambitious individual who is dedicated to personal and professional growth. An innovative thinker not afraid to bring new ideas to the table. Has the ability to maintain a positive attitude in high-stress situations. A self-starter who will take initiative in learning processes and procedures. Is able to work efficiently while maintaining our high standard of quality work product.
