Commercial/Employment Litigation Paralegal Duties: Act as lead Relativity and NetDocuments expert for assigned cases. Lead evidence location management for assigned cases. Coordinate with client to obtain client documents and evidence. Supervise and assist in maintaining NetDocuments filing structure for assigned cases. Assist attorneys with inputs into law firm designed strategy management system. Prepare litigation documents relating to evidence management: disclosure indexes, foreign subpoenas, deposition notices, trial disclosures, etc. Assist in scheduling and monitoring all case deadlines, including depositions discovery response deadlines, etc. Assist in communicating with and scheduling client-controlled witnesses/experts. Assist in preparing exhibits and documents for motion practice, deposition, and trial. Assist attorneys in preparing for trial. Coordinate with trial-related third-party vendors. Supervise and assist in tracking filings and service of process. Prepare initial drafts of all judgment collection-related documents. Coordinate case closing processes according to a confidentiality agreement, engagement agreement, or other destruction protocols. Assist with tracking status and deadlines of volume practice case list. Prepare first drafts of all case-related documents using forms at all stages of the case, including demand letters, pleading, discovery disclosures, discovery requests, deposition notices, third-party subpoenas, discovery responses, draft motions, pretrial disclosures, and trial exhibits. Conduct evidence review, analysis, and tagging. Analyze and process the results of written discovery responses. Qualifications: Should have 5+ years of commercial/business or employment litigation experience, preferably in a large law firm or litigation-boutique setting. Education should include an Associate degree in paralegal or legal studies or a paralegal certificate combined with 2+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, work experience, and training in a law office setting. A Bachelor's degree in paralegal or legal studies is preferred. Must have strong academic credentials; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; superior writing, analytical, organizational, and time management skills; and must demonstrate refined judgment and decision-making skills. Strong working knowledge of Relativity, NetDocuments, Monday.com, Word, Excel and Adobe DC Pro are a plus.
