Litigation Paralegal The candidate will represent numerous banking and financial institutions. work on high-volume civil litigation matters including calendar and docket management, but also drafting pleadings, data entry, and preparing for hearings and trials. Managing full dockets for 3 or more attorneys, including scheduling, maintaining an accurate calendar, travel, and preparation for hearings and trials. Communicate with court staff, clients, pro se defendants, opposing counsels, and process servers at all phases of litigation. Assist attorneys with case management, drafting pleadings and data entry. Possess outstanding organizational and time management skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong knowledge of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure. Experience with state electronic filing and drafting of pleadings, trial preparation and support, file management, and discovery. Possess strong project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment. Thorough attention to details and ability to follow up effectively on outstanding items. Ability to produce high quality, error-free work product in a fast-paced, deadline sensitive environment. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and litigation document software. A college degree in Paralegal Studies or an equivalent field is preferred. At least two years experience in litigation matters is strongly preferred.
