Attorney or Paralegal - Contracts Candidate will conduct legal research, review and redline contracts, and maintain documents as requested by lead attorneys. Will collaborate with clients and attorneys on contract requirements and conduct training on contracting process to business clients as requested. Will maintain legal department land files and advise on contract requirements within targeted areas of operations. Will be expected to prepare metrics on contract terms and operations for routine reporting to client management. The candidate should have an American Bar Association approved paralegal certificate or Texas law license in good standing and have experience reviewing, drafting, revising and interpreting contracts, monitoring of contract performance and compliance, recommending improvements and general oversight of contract process. Must be very detail oriented, organized, and an independent worker. A? Will consider experienced contract manager without paralegal certificate or bar license with 5+ years relevant contract experience in oil and gas industry. New law grads must have 3+ years of work experience in any field for consideration. Will work under direction of licensed attorneys. Must have intermediate skills in applicable software packages (Word, Outlook, Excel).
