Legal Secretary/Paralegal The candidate will organize, index and file legal and administrative documents and maintain databases, firm calendars, administrative files and other records. Will answer and route calls; interact with clients and others on the phone, by email and in person and provide overall back-up support for the department. Provide word processor and other document production services, maintain attorney calendars. Interact with all levels of the company, including management, outside and opposing counsel and vendors. Must have professional demeanor and be able to work well independently. Will work on a variety of assignments that may be confidential in nature. File documents online and be overall office coordinaton. Word processing, typing and computer skill is essential. Good communication skills, both written and oral is essential. Must have knowledge of legal pleadings and knowledge of keeping legal files. Should have 3+ years of legal secretary experience.
