Associate Attorney The candidate will join litigation firm with a focus on the representation of hospitals, medical institutions and corporations, university-based medical programs, individual medical professionals, and skilled nursing/assisted living facilities. Consistently engage in the preparation of client-ready reports, formal and informal. Independently manage a high-volume caseload. Regularly handle court appearances and depositions/trial preparation. Legal research, discovery, fact investigation, law, and motion practice interface with expert witnesses, social media investigations. Must have experience in matters involving the healthcare industry and will be a current member of the California State Bar from an ABA-accredited law school. Must possess excellent academic credentials as well as strong organizational, writing and analytical skills. Must have JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Should be admitted to practice in California. Must have 1-3 years of litigation experience. Medical background and/or familiarity with medical records and terms is a plus
