Litigation Paralegal The candidate will work for the Firm's Casualty Department. Will assist a variety of attorneys during the entire litigation process, subject to the supervision of the attorney responsible for the matter. Responsibilities include supporting all facets of discovery; trial and appellate preparation; court filings; document management and production; and exhibit preparation. Must have 5+ years of experience in general litigation/asbestos/toxic tort litigation. Should have a Bachelor's degree plus paralegal certificate. Must have exceptional communication and organizational skills. Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Excel, Kofax/Nuance, iManage, and Lexis Nexis. Knowledge of the local court systems is a must with a strong preference for knowledge of the state and federal courts in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Knowledge of Allegheny County and West Virginia toxic tort system preferable. Must have knowledge of billable hours and billing software. Note: This is an immediate opening.
