Criminal Law Attorney Responsibilities: Represent clients in court. Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients. Advise clients. Negotiate. Comply with all legal standards and regulations. Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law. Qualifications: 3 years criminal law & appellate experience. Must have excellent research and writing skills. Position requires research/writing and court appearances. Must be willing to travel to the various boroughs of NYC, Long Island for court appearances. Night and weekend arraignments are required approximately 2 to 3 times a month. Familiarity with various legal documents. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to build rapport with clients. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluency/Proficiency in Spanish a plus.
