Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal The candidate will have heavy client interaction by telephone, mail and in person. Will draft various pleadings, motions, correspondence and other documents. Prepare and respond to discovery requests. Review and summarize medical records. Prepare litigation attorney for depositions, mediations and arbitrations. Assist with trial preparation including jury instructions, trial exhibits, Subpoenas, etc. Manage Court dockets, draft settlement calculations and agreements. Perform other administrative duties such as organizing case files, calendaring hearings, filing, etc. The candidate should preferably have an Associate s Degree; Paralegal Certificate. Must have 3-5 years of personal injury litigation paralegal experience. Should have a thorough understanding of all aspects of litigation, preferably personal injury, including knowledge of local rules and NC Rules of Civil Procedure. Superior attention to detail is extremely important. Working knowledge of motions, discovery, litigation documents, court practices, etc essential. Experience with Needles case management/document management software preferred. Strong written/verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills needed.
