Part-time Immigration Paralegal The candidate works under the direction of an attorney and assists clients from all walks of life (literally, from big-time celebrities to nearly indigent people) in many different forms of immigration relief and benefits. Duties include direct client contact, preparing and filing petitions before USCIS, assisting in preparing motions to vacate in state and federal court as well as the management of EOIR cases. Should preferably have experience with Family Petitions, Removal Defense, Waiver Preparation, Employment Visas, Immigrant and Non-Immigration Consular Processing, Naturalization Applications (N-400), I-485. Must have familiarity with the California Superior Court system. Should be able to execute the entire application process as well as responding to RFEs. Should preferably have reading/written/speaking fluency in Spanish.
