Part-Time Employment / Civil Rights Attorney The candidate will manage a growing employment and civil rights docket. Will research and write winning briefs that advance the cause of civil rights in Texas and beyond. Actively litigate cases in federal and state court - take and defend depositions, argue motions, appear for hearings, go to trial. Manage the discovery process. Participate in intakes, scheduling, data collection for all cases. Must be licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas, admitted or qualified to be admitted to the Western District of Texas Prior employment litigation experience required. Must have proficiency with Microsoft products, including Windows 10, Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, and OneDrive. 3+ years of experience litigating employment law cases in state and federal court is preferred. Prior experience consulting and advising individuals on employment law matters including non-competes, trade secrets, accommodation requests, severance agreements, settlement agreements, and executive agreements is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Clio is preferred.
