Paralegal Trainee The candidate will organize and maintain files. Assist with document production including logging all documents produced and received and maintaining documents in binders or files, Assist with depositions including compiling and preparing exhibits in preparation for deposition; and managing and maintaining depositions, including logging depositions (deponent, date, exhibits received, summaries, errata sheets) and maintaining depositions (including notebooks of mini-transcripts & summaries), Assist with medical records including organizing medical records, compiling notebook of records by provider, numbering medical records, organizing and summarizing medical bills, and assembling notebooks for IME, or for expert review, Notebook preparation including medical notebooks, transaction books, deposition preparation notebooks, Arbitration/hearing notebooks and trial notebooks, Assist with exhibits to motions including compiling and preparing and designating deposition transcripts, as instructed, Assistance with trial preparation including compiling and preparing exhibits, assistance with demonstrative exhibits and deposition designation, with instruction, Court runs, searching court files, and ordering audio tapes, Database work in e-discovery programs such as Relativity to include preparing or facilitating preparation of database, loading deposition transcripts, and searching database or transcripts for words or phrases upon request, Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously, High level of organizational skills, Highly developed verbal and written communications, Excellent time management skills are required. Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint are required. A high school diploma or GED are required. Two years of office experience are required. One year of litigation legal experience are required. strong computer skills and a high level of organization and accuracy with attention to detail.
