Litigation Legal Secretary The candidate will do drafting, transcribing, proofreading, editing and filing court documents and related correspondence, memorandum, pleadings and related documents. E-filing and paper filing documents with local, state, federal and appellate courts. Maintaining team and court calendars and keeping attorneys aware of scheduled events and approaching deadlines. Copying, bates stamping, filing and mailing of documents. Assist fellow workers and/or other attorneys as needed and requested. The candidate should have 5 years of experience as a Litigation Legal Secretary, preferably in an Insurance Defense or Personal Injury firm. Must also have very strong typing, transcription, organizational, MS Word and Excel skills.
