Bankruptcy Attorney The candidate should have experience representing secured creditors in consumer Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases. Duties: Representation of clients at Court appearances, preparation of motions, objections, proposed orders, memoranda of law, proofs of claim, and Rule 3002.1 filings. Preparing correspondence and submissions to clients, adversaries, and to the Court. A qualified candidate must have 1-3 years experience and a working knowledge of the Bankruptcy Code and Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure. However, we are open to training the right candidate with less experience. Must have a solid understanding of consumer loan documents, top-notch organizational and communication skills, and the ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines. The ideal candidate will be admitted to practice in NJ and PA, the Federal Districts in NJ and PA, and have a familiarity with NJ and PA bankruptcy courts, local rules, and court procedures. Admissions in other jurisdictions and experience in litigation related matters a strong plus.
