Litigation Paralegal - Insurance Defense The candidate will work with and assist attorneys on a heavy caseload of litigation defense matters. Assist attorneys with discovery, trial preparation and preparing trial binders. Draft pleadings and motions and other legal documents and correspondence. Communicate with clients, opposing parties and vendors. Interview witnesses and interact with courts. Schedule meetings and hearings. Obtain records, maintain exhibit and witness lists, and prepare chronologies. Record case time and expenses contemporaneously and meet minimum billing requirements. Should have 5-7 years of experience handling insurance defense cases.
