Labor & Employment Staff Attorney The candidate will be assisting with/handling litigation and pre-litigation matters including discovery, motion work, preparing EEOC position statements and related work. Provide high level counsel to clients on federal and state employment law compliance issues. Preparation of employment contracts and assistance with other project-based work. Possess a JD from an accredited law school and a strong academic record. Must be in good standing and admitted to practice in a US State Bar. Admission to the Ohio State Bar is expected if not currently admitted. Should have 2-3 years' of demonstrable experience in employment law litigation and counseling, preferably in a law firm setting. Strong organizational skills; good judgment; a record of responsiveness and attention to detail; initiative. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities and reasoning and research skills. Flexibility, composure and the ability to prioritize and handle urgent tasks and requests simultaneously with a high level of competence and accuracy; the ability to remain composed andLabor & Employment Staff Attorney Part-Time professional under stressful circumstances.
