Litigation Paralegal (Insurance Defense) The candidate will review, analyze, and summarize large volumes of medical records and other voluminous documents such as depositions, third party and client documents; must be familiar with medical jargon, be able to analyze substantial amounts of information quickly and accurately, identify and extract crucial facts pertinent to case. Will draft responses to discovery, such as Interrogatories and Request for Production; draft discovery requests to opposing party; must be able to independently track deadlines and initiate follow-up. Monitor and manage cases and documents for ongoing litigation matters. Draft subpoenas and other legal documents and/or pleadings as well as correspondence. Review assigned cases periodically for the purpose of determining status and follow-up on outstanding items. Schedule depositions of witness, experts and/or other individuals. Conduct witness interviews and investigates case facts. Prepare cases for depositions, mediations and trials; must be able to independently prioritize caseload. Perform other duties as assigned. Should have 5+ years of experience in insurance defense. Must possess excellent organizational abilities, be detail oriented, and must work well under pressure.
