Associate Attorney The candidate should have a Juris Doctorate. Should have 1-2 years of experience. Must be an active member in good standing of the California State Bar. Should be an attorney with three years of experience in a family law firm setting. Must have experience in a family law firm setting. Should have experience with substantial client contact, research and drafting letters, memorandums, declarations, briefs, and motions. Should have some experience arguing law and motion matters and taking and defending depositions. Familiarity with basic business valuation principles, financial statements, and tax concepts is also preferred. Should possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments while delivering consistent, quality work product. Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and cloud-based collaboration software. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Demonstrated ability to establish constructive working relationships with members of departmental staff by performing duties in a cooperative and helpful manner.
