Litigation Paralegal The candidate will assist two attorneys (of four in the firm) with a complex civil litigation caseload. The key component of this job is staying ahead of the attorney. For example, after the pleadings are complete, the paralegal should be able to convert the complaint into an initial disclosure statement, draft a joint report and scheduling order, start a discovery packet, and reach out to opposing counsel for dates for a deposition. Should be able to have experience handling both state and federal litigation and know how to file in both courts.
