Entry-level FDCPA Paralegal - Bankruptcy and Consumer Rights Law The candidate will be responsible for documenting evidence for attorney review prior to filing and assisting clients seeking relief from creditors violating various consumer rights, including the fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Fair Credit Reporting Act. Will be having extensive client contact via phone. Detail-oriented documentation of phone calls, credit reports, case notes, transcripts, and other communications or documents, case management. Assisting attorneys swiftly and as needed. Identifying potential violations for attorney review. Should have active listening skills, critical thinking skills. Must have computer literacy. 65+ wpm typing speed needed. Must have Associate's degree or higher (or 2+ years of experience in a comparable position).
