Associate Attorney The candidate should have 2+ years' experience. Firm has a broad range of practice areas, mainly personal injury and construction defect insurance defense. The position will provide a substantial amount of responsibility with an appropriate level of supervision. Job responsibilities include: drafting pleadings and correspondence. Taking and defending depositions. Working with clients on day-to-day advice and counsel inquiries. Handling a large caseload. Drafting discovery. Document review. Attending court hearings. Must be licensed in California. Should have strong communication and writing skills. Should have top academic credentials. Experience or interest in Construction Defect, litigation, and/or public entity defense is a plus.
