Paralegal - Residential Lending Team Candidate will be involved in the representation of lenders in residential real estate transactions throughout the five boroughs. Will be assisting in the preparation of physical files for closing and working alongside attorneys, title companies and management companies while representing our clients at the closing table. Will perform various additional ad hoc administrative functions. As a member of the lending team, will work with skilled team of attorneys and paralegals and will regularly correspond with top NYC loan officers and title companies. Will obtain experience on all aspects of residential lending transactions for co-ops, condos, new developments, multi-family and private homes. The candidate possesses the following: Interest in pursuing a degree in law or post graduate degree is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills. Confident and professional demeanor and communication skills. Meticulous attention to detail. Desire and ability to be responsive, committed and an efficient team player. Ability to learn and work quickly amid a demanding and fast-paced environment. Firm offers competitive salary and benefits including retirement/profit sharing.
