Litigation Paralegal The candidate will responsible for providing support in all areas of personal injury case management involving motor vehicle accidents leading to a successful outcomes for our clients. Will effectively manage a case load of 75-100 cases. Accurately draft demand letters, pleadings, discovery and various motions. Continually communicate with clients, internal and external stake holders. Audit cases for all expenses (medical bills, case expenses, LOP providers, subro liens). Negotiate with providers and lien holders to dispute charges or obtain reduction. Accurately maintain case management data in Needles (case management database). Prepare trial documents and assist with trial preparation. Proficient in personal injury law involving motor vehicle accidents are required. Proficient in preparing discovery responses are required. Detail oriented with a focus on grammar and language arts are required. Professional appearance and behavior are required. Working knowledge of common deadlines and protocols of personal injury litigation are required. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills on the phone, in person and email are required. Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and critical thinking abilities are essential. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Case Management software (Needles preferred). College degree or comparable paralegal certification and experience are required. Having 2 years (preferred) of experience in a plaintiffs personal injury law firm.
